Binaural Beats Guide

Understanding brainwave frequencies for relaxation, focus, and meditation

What Are Binaural Beats?

Binaural beats occur when two slightly different frequencies are played separately to each ear using headphones. The brain perceives a third frequency, which is the difference between the two tones. This perceived frequency may influence mental states such as relaxation, focus, or sleep.

⚠️ Binaural beats are for relaxation and personal experience only. They are not a medical treatment. Always use headphones and moderate volume.

Binaural Beat Frequency Ranges

🔴 Delta Waves (0.5 – 4 Hz)

Example: 200 Hz (Left) + 202 Hz (Right) = 2 Hz

🟠 Theta Waves (4 – 8 Hz)

Example: 220 Hz + 226 Hz = 6 Hz

🟡 Alpha Waves (8 – 13 Hz)

Example: 432 Hz + 440 Hz = 8 Hz

🟢 Beta Waves (13 – 30 Hz)

Example: 440 Hz + 454 Hz = 14 Hz

🔵 Gamma Waves (30 – 100 Hz)

Example: 500 Hz + 540 Hz = 40 Hz
